New Invest in the future Rugby player

At Moneyweb, we have taken on board two more young athletes to sponsor as part of our Invest in the future programme, within their sporting field.

As part of our Invest In The Future sponsorship campaign, we have the honour of sponsoring some young and very talented sportsmen and women.

Introducing Steph Else
We’re excited to introduce Steph Else as one of our recent Invest in the Future athletes.

Steph is an 18 year old Rugby player, she has been playing rugby since the age of four, and was the only girl on the team until the age of twelve.

Get to know Steph a little bit more…

HOW DID YOU GET INTO RUGBY?
I’ve played rugby since I was four years old, I’ve followed in the footsteps of my parents who have both played and also my older brothers.

WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST SPORTING ACHIEVEMENT SO FAR?
My greatest achievement would be playing in the Under 18’s six nations against Ireland and France – I was one of three girls who were chosen to play every game.

HOW WILL MONEYWEB’S INVESTMENT HELP YOU TO DEVELOP IN DISCIPLINE?
The Moneyweb investment will help me to continue my physio programme as playing at a high level in a contact sport I need to keep my body in peak condition.
It will also help to further fund my scholarship at Hartpury University with kit and equipment.

WHAT IS YOUR FUTURE AMBITIONS IN RUGBY?
My ambition is to be picked for England under 20’s at next years 2023 Six Nations, as I have already been picked to trial due to my performance at the Six Nations.
My biggest ambition would to be inevitably play for the Womens England squad in a few years times.

WHO WOULD YOU SAY IS YOUR SPORTING ICON AND WHY?
My sporting icon is Zoe Aldcroft, she is an International England rugby player and she has recently won World Rugby player of the year. Zoe started her career at Scarbough Rugby Club, just like I did, therefore I would love to follow in her footsteps.
